Exclusive Program Materials & Tools for Certified Instructors:
Program Overview
Shows what progressions are needed to teach to reach more complex skills
Skaters can progress along a path in a category while they work on the remainder of the skills at that level.
Ex. if a skater only has backwards left to pass Stage 1, they can continue to learn and earn recognition for progressing in other categories, such as forwards, stopping, etc.
Class Progress Tracker
- Stay organized for private or group lessons, by tracking your skater’s progress!
- This can act as your lesson plan
- It includes progressions for each skill, as well as activities & suitable skills from various disciplines to peek your skaters' interests
Progress Reports
- Give to your skaters after a one-off lesson, set term, or when they have passed a level – the instructor can choose their own assessment timelines.
- After stage 3 or later, skaters may choose to move directly into more discipline-specific programs such as slalom, roller dance, or race skating if those are available. Otherwise finishing to stage 6 will provide a strong foundation to enjoy skating for life, and learn any other discipline.
Badges!
- Encourage skaters to put badges on helmets to promote the program and let other’s know about it! (Invites back more skaters for you or your school :D)
- Excellent for skaters of all ages!
